Batman Comic: "A Cat's Tale"by *GarrettByers

This 6 page short was created back in 2006 as a portfolio piece for my Sequential Art sample book. It was penciled and inked on legal size paper then colored and lettered in Photoshop. I can remember giving myself a set deadline and time frame to complete the pages and after hitting my stride finished the two week stretch with a few days to spare. The panel format chosen along with the art style was a deliberate choice as the main purpose in doing the short in the first place was to see if I could translate my style to match that of the last season of “Batman The Animated Series”. From the characters to the color scheme I worked hard to keep their designs on mark.
I was quite pleased with how it turned out and still enjoy it today.
